The first of two blog posts on a weekend trip from Malawi to the magical Luangwa Valley

A blog entry on elephants, what they are like, where best to see them. I love elephants...

Other writing
I regularly write lectures and give talks in my work as a French and Spanish teacher, mostly on Spain, Latin America and France, and presented papers on the Buenos Aires frontier during a brief academic not-exactly-career in 2009-11. I was the founding editor of realmadrid.com and wrote lots of TV pitches in the late 90s. More recently, I have written articles for Travel Africa Magazine
